About

Hi! Welcome to my website, I'm Vic, a current PhD Student studying English at the University of Exeter (2025–) specialising in heritage engagement, narrative theory and tabletop storytelling games across cultural, literary and magical (!) contexts. My doctoral research focuses on developing innovative creative methodologies to explore how audiences interact with heritage and literary sites, with particular emphasis on public engagement and interdisciplinary games design.

My academic work is grounded in literary studies and cultural history, with a sustained interest in how storytelling operates within gaming cultures. I am particularly committed to currently producing research that bridges academia and public engagement, combining rigorous scholarship with creative and collaborative approaches to understanding audience experience.

On this site, you'll find information about my academic background, research projects, and other scholarly endeavors. While I currently don't have any published works to showcase, I'm actively working on several exciting projects that I hope to share soon. Please feel free to explore, and don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or would like to connect.
